Joe Rocca has a long history of involvement in product development and manufacturing. Starting in 1981, he was part of the PDGS group supporting Ford Motor Company’s implementation of CAD/CAM. In 1996, he had a unique opportunity to become a 3D printer Product Manager and later became the Vice President of Rapid Technology at Fisher/Unitech. He formed DELRAY Systems in 2015 and has continued to support the industry with advanced design and manufacturing solutions including additive manufacturing, 3D scanning, reverse engineering and 3D modeling. His DELRAY lab facility is located in a historic buiding on the old Dodge Brothers property of Oakland University in Rochester Michigan.
Avi Reichental is one of the world’s leading authorities on business digitalization and exponential-tech convergence. He is an executive who led during 9/11 and through the 2008 financial crisis as 3D Systems CEO, and is currently the Founder of XponentialWorks, a venture investment, advisory and product development company, unique in its collider-business model of bringing together traditional mid-market manufacturing companies with transformative startups to accelerate value creation. Prior to his current role, Avi served as 3D Systems (NYSE:DDD) President, Chief Executive Officer and Director. Under Avi’s leadership, 3D Systems emerged as a formidable global 3D printing provider with market valuation growing over 12 fold. Avi holds other senior positions including Chairman and Co-Founder of 3D printing disruptor Nexa3D; and serves as a member of the XPRIZE Innovation Board. Avi’s insights are sought out by numerous organizations in addition to his own. He remains a hands-on inventor with over 35 patents credited to his name.
