Executive Assistant to CEO

Job Description:

This position is responsible for executive administrative support including organizing, scheduling, and coordinating administrative activities for the President/CEO. Under the direction of the CEO, there is preparation of reports, presentations, meeting agendas, and all office administration activities. This position also provides support for organizing, updating, coordinating, and distributing, as appropriate, of policy and procedures, regulatory information, contracts and other administrative information.


  • Supports CEO to ensure that all administrative aspects of the Executive Office runs smoothly, accurately, and presents a positive image.
  • Organizes and updates Calendar to ensure accuracy.
  • Schedules meetings, appointments and conference calls and ensures they are confirmed or rescheduled, as necessary. Keeps CEO on schedule and apprises of changes to ensure their time is able to be used most effectively.
  • Coordinates all CEO travel arrangements, and on-site and off-site meetings, ensuring accuracy and cost effectiveness.
  • Communicates with the public and staff by phone, ensuring accurate, timely, and professional, screening of calls, taking of messages, answering of questions and referring of calls as appropriate.
  • Organize and prioritize large volumes of information, ensuring the information is analyzed and presented in the most usable manner possible to meet the needs of the CEO.
  • Manages both incoming and outgoing correspondence accurately. Opens mail for the CEO and determines level of priority to ensure prompt handling of issues and responses.
  • Types and designs general correspondences, memos, charts, tables, graphs, presentations, business plans, etc. to ensure accurate and timely information is presented.
  • Maintains, updates and distributes Policy & Procedures to ensure adherence to compliance requirements.
  • Creates and develops visual presentations for the CEO from data personally obtained or given to ensure the accurate and timely preparation of presentations.
  • Handles non-routine and sensitive information, ensuring complete confidentiality.
  • Works independently and within a team on special and nonrecurring and ongoing projects. Acts as a project manager for special projects, at the request of the CEO, which may include: planning and coordinating multiple presentations, disseminating information, and organizing company-wide events to ensure these projects are accomplished in a positive, timely, accurate, and cost effective manner.
  • Gathers and analyzes statistical data as needed to ensure the CEO has accurate and easily understandable data.
  • Organizes contact data and processes large mailings to ensure accurate and timely dissemination of information.

  • College degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Five years of general office experience, with a minimum two years supporting Executive Management highly preferred.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle effectively multiple competing tasks and demands with a positive “can-do” attitude.
  • Must be highly skilled at taking accurate minutes of meetings, and producing written minutes quickly.
  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
  • Must be able to interact and communicate successfully and with a pleasant demeanor with a diverse audience: individuals at all levels of the organization and with the community at large.
  • Must have knowledge of and be highly proficient in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and Publisher.
  • Must have ability to adapt to changing situations proactively.
  • Must have strong data management, data analysis, and data presentation skills.
  • Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.

Additive Manufacturing Technician

  • Operate and maintain 3D Printers, including technologies for FDM, SLA, DMLS, and PCB
  • Establish design-for-process guidelines for equipment, documenting results in standard operating procedures
  • Inspect additively manufactured parts for conformance to stated requirements
  • Coordinate building and post-processing of additively manufactured parts with customers and external vendors, including quoting, packaging, shipping, and tracking to a communicated schedule
  • Manage inventory of consumables and trigger replacement orders using Kanban system

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in STEM field
  • >1 year experience with plastic additive manufacturing technology, such as FDM or SLA
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Experience with basic metrology equipment and procedures
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail

Additive Manufacturing Engineer

  • Perform R&D projects for clients, including design of circuits, generative design, evaluation of battery anodes, and electric vehicle (ebike) powertrain.
  • Operate and design parts for SLA, PCB, and FDM printers.
  • Conduct process development and evaluation studies, including Design of Experiments, for new 3D printer models, materials, etc.
  • Design and development of 3D Printing post-processing equipment, such as part washers, curing stations, sieves, etc

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical and/or Mechanical engineering
  • >1 year experience with plastic additive manufacturing technology, such as FDM or SLA

Electronic/Software Lighting Engineer – Advanced Development

The main task for the Electronics/Software Lighting Engineer is to define and implement the software and hardware development of intelligent LED-modules for the automotive market. This role also plays a key part in the development of our cognitive connected foot print. This role reports to the Head of the Advanced Development Team, located in Switzerland.

The Advanced Development team in the Techniplas R&D department is tasked to ensure the company retains a technical competitive edge in the market short to long term.  Advanced Development mission includes creating breakthroughs (disruptive innovations), building core-competence technologies, and supporting operations in an advisory role.


  • Software and hardware development of intelligent LED-Modules (single/multicolor) for automotive embedded systems, including conception, thermal simulations and validation of layouts/PCB’s for serial application.
  • Programming in C or C++ while using standardized components like CAN/ LIN and LED drivers, color sensorics, AC/DC transformers, BLE modules, temperature sensorics, PWM-steps
  • Project management & coordination with international suppliers, project partners and internal and/or external customers of advanced development projects in electronics and embedded system applications.
  • Analysis of customer specifications, translation to internal specification, covering function, system design, lay out and architecture. Up to and including the generation of prototypes and validation for serial release in close cooperation with suppliers and development partners.
  • Sustained market observation on technical developments in semiconductors, sensorics, LED and OLEDs and analysis of these developments for fit and implementation in our current and future product portfolio.
  • Definition, planning and execution of all required tests for prototype and serial validations on new electronic modules in close cooperation with suppliers, development partners, external accredited laboratories and customers where necessary and applicable
  • Central embedded electronics champion for all Techniplas departments and plants
  • Requirement engineering, internal and external specification set up, using ISO 26262 and current test, legal and validation requirements in automotive electronics applications as a basis
  • Lay out design, architecture and hands one prototype build of HW Connections with special attention for EMC conforming lay out of DCDC Transformer architecture
  • Design of PCB use cases for additive manufacturing with NanoDimension printer.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Embedded Systems Engineering
  • >2 years experience in automotive engineering
  • Experience and Affinity for Opto-electronics
  • English (verbal and written)
  • Experienced with customer, internal, and supplier specifications and requirements management
  • Able to work autonomously with minimal direction

Desired Skills:

  • ISO 26262 experience
  • Experience working in global teams
  • Experienced automotive software design using UML, DOORS, Rhapsody
