Liege Belgium, January 3, 2019 – EverZinc, an OpenGate Capital portfolio company, the leading global provider of specialty zinc materials, today announced the formation of EverCare, a new California-based business unit established to accelerate the market and product development of people-centric, sustainable zinc-based skincare and extended shelf life packaging products. The Belgium-based company also announced that it tapped experienced industry leader Heather Naef-Owen to lead EverCare’s headquarters and application labs in Ventura, California.

Heather Naef-Owen brings to EverCare years of solid and diverse industry, business and product development leadership experience in personal care and life sciences products. She has worked for several leading companies, most recently as Director of Sales, Market Development and Innovation for consumer goods at Omya. In her new role, she will lead the global growth and expansion of EverCare.
